Water and Blood
Two faiths. Two ways to keep someone alive.
The Elven Elder sustains mana and protects with the waters of Eva. The Shillien Elder marks enemies and offers her own life to heal. In Knell both can rescue a soul at the Threshold, and both can buy it time.
01What changes in Knell
Recharge becomes an active skill with a cooldown and each Elder gains an aura, a strike and a decision of her own. Both rescue from the Threshold; both buy time for whoever fell.
Elven Elder and Shillien Elder bring someone back from the Threshold, from level 40, with a Tear and the six-second ritual. Stabilize adds sixty seconds to a fallen ally’s window, up to three minutes.
Eva's Fountain is an aura of mana regeneration and cheaper spells. Protective Tide shields the whole party; Veil of Waters makes an ally immune to magical debuffs for five seconds.
Blood Pact is an aura where allies heal from the damage they deal. Mark of Shilen makes a target take 15% more damage; Transfusion trades 20% of the Elder’s HP for 40% of an ally’s.
Recharge becomes an active skill: more MP at once, twenty seconds of cooldown. The group’s mana becomes a decision, not a tap.
Undertow for the Elven Elder, water and slow; Blood Drain for the Shillien Elder. Both level alone, with patience.

Aura · MP per second · Level 40
Mana regeneration and cheaper spells for the party within range, while the fountain runs.
Active · 8 s · 2 min cooldown · Level 46
A tide that shields every party member for 10% of their maximum HP, for eight seconds. Eva's Saint absorbs 15% and removes one debuff.
Aura · MP per second · Level 40
Allies within range recover HP equal to 5% of the damage they deal, while the pact is lit.
Reactive · 30 s cooldown · Level 44
The Elder gives 20% of her own maximum HP; the ally recovers 40% of theirs. Healing that costs blood.
03The moment
The Bishop is dead. Not at the Threshold: dead, the bell already rung. The Shillien Elder opens her own veins and pours what is left of her life into the dagger who is still standing. The Elven Elder covers them both in a tide of Eva’s water and buys the fallen tank one more minute. There will be no second rescue tonight. But there will be a party to walk home.
An example vignette. One rescue per body: a second ally who tries is refused without spending the Tear.

Client capture, pending: The crimson projectile leaving the Shillien Elder and the heal landing on the ally’s chest; then Protective Tide filling like water.
